I re-found this...this thing. While a blight on the internets, it still exists, wasting some minute amount of bandwidth on site I never really cared about. Strange the artifacts that remain on the internets...
And yet, I'm here, back. I blame nostalgia, honestly. So y'know what? Here goes, a list of all the things I remember, and miss:
Pokemon. It was an amazing game. I remember getting that old gameboy pocket, after hearing all about it from my newfound friends. You just can't beat that feeling.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Another golden gem. My first console game. It was amazing to come home and see this sitting on the stairs.
Final Fantasy VII, the Crystal Shards. When I arrived, it was a dieing rp that was nice and deep. But I disappeared from it. I came back a long while later (as in at least a year) and it was still up, still just as dead. About a year ago, I returned there a third time. And it was still there. Two people, largely inactive, have kept the board alive for *years*. I'd go check it again, but it's almost impossible to find...
Dark Forest was another old rp I was in. I didn't stay there for too long, but they've always done very, very well.
Amalgam: I'm still there. But one of the things I most regret is A) only lurking in their chat and B) disappearing for months at a time, and not doing what you're supposed to do with other people in an rp...actually write with them. That's where I get nostalgia from the strongest, which is actually kinda strange.
Final Fantasy XI: Oh ye gods, this is almost the same as Amal, except I don't play it anymore and I didn't really lurk. I had some amazing friends. Atreyna from Knights of the Night, if you're out there, Austpowerrangerbuddy wants to talk one more time.
Those are the major ones.
This felt good to write.
